Biological context of CYCLIZINE

  • Wellcome Trust loses battle to expand its genome campus [21].
  • PURPOSE: The feasibility of administering vinorelbine (Navelbine, Burroughs Wellcome Co, Research Triangle Park, NC), a semisynthetic vinca alkaloid with broad activity, as a liquid-filled gelatin capsule was evaluated in a bioavailability (F) and pharmacokinetic study [22].
  • Stage 2 of the Wellcome Trust UK-Irish bipolar affective disorder sibling-pair genome screen: evidence for linkage on chromosomes 6q16-q21, 4q12-q21, 9p21, 10p14-p12 and 18q22 [23].
  • We present a region template and a protocol for transforming that template to define anatomical volumes of interest (VOIs) in the human brain without operator intervention, based on software contained in the SPM99 package (Statistical Parametric Mapping, Wellcome Department of Cognitive Neurology, London, UK) [24].
  • Using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, we measured antibody responses to recombinant gluthathione S-transferase-PfMSP119 fusion proteins corresponding to the Wellcome and MAD20 allelic variants in these samples [25].

Anatomical context of CYCLIZINE

  • PGI2 sodium salt (Epoprostenol, Wellcome Research Laboratories and Upjohn Company) or its solvent (glycine buffer) were infused into the subclavian vein for six-hour periods in five courses separated by six-hour intervals [26].
  • Previous studies in our laboratory demonstrated that the synthetic surfactant Exosurf (Burroughs Wellcome Co.) inhibited endotoxin-stimulated cytokine secretion from human alveolar macrophages in vitro [27].
  • Campath-1H (Wellcome, Beckenham, UK, and Ilex Oncology, San Antonio, TX), an anti-CD52 monoclonal antibody, has demonstrated significant activity in patients with previously untreated, relapsed, or refractory chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), as well as in patients with T-cell prolymphocytic leukemia [28].
  • The Wellcogen Strep B latex agglutination test (Wellcome Diagnostics, Dartford, England) was evaluated as a method of detecting group B streptococcal antigen in urine, cerebrospinal fluid, and serum from neonates with early-onset (less than or equal to 7 days of age) and late-onset group B streptococcal disease [29].
  • The semisynthetic vinca alkaloid vinorelbine (Navelbine; Burroughs Wellcome Co, Research Triangle Park, NC; Pierre Fabre Médicament, Paris, France) is unique in its chemical structure, microtubule selectivity, and neurotoxicity profile [30].

Associations of CYCLIZINE with other chemical compounds

Gene context of CYCLIZINE

  • Recently, Burroughs Wellcome disclosed a series of cyclic peptides, including the compound 1229U91, which were reported to be selective NPY receptor antagonists (PCT Publication No. WO 94/00486) [36].
  • The performance and clinical utility of a 'C-terminal' parathyroid hormone (PTH) radioimmunoassay (Dac-Cel, Wellcome Diagnostics) is described [37].
  • Considerable overlapping of individual TBPA values were found between normals and undernourished in Wellcome classification but very little overlapping was found between normals and mild PEM in Waterlow's classification [38].
  • Sera from almost all donors contained antibodies to the 33-kDa processing product of the MAD20 allele of MSP-1 (MSP-1(33)), but these antibodies did not cross-react with the equivalent sequence of the Wellcome allele [39].
  • The effect of valaciclovir on cytomegalovirus viremia and viruria detected by polymerase chain reaction in patients with advanced human immunodeficiency virus disease. AIDS Clinical Trials Group Protocol 204/Glaxo Wellcome 123-014 International CMV Prophylaxis Study Group [40].
