  • Analysis of the conversion of indigo into indigo carmine dye using SERRS [22].
  • The reaction of pancreatic juice excreted via the minor papilla was evaluated after intravenous administration of secretin, by observing the repulsion of indigo carmine dye scattered on the surface of the minor papilla [16].
  • METHODS: In 21 men who had dilated seminal vesicles and/or midline cysts on TRUS, a mixture of contrast media and indigocarmine was injected and then pelvic radiographs were taken [23].
  • Indigo carmine was injected to ensure sampling of both amniotic sacs [24].
  • These results indicate that indigocarmine is reduced by P450 reductase to its leuco form, and superoxide radical is produced by autoxidation of the leuco form, through a mechanism known as futile redox cycling [25].
